1 Overview
DFW-12 type 10kv outdoor cable distribution boxes are widely used in relay connection and power distribution of 10kv electric power system ,which are also important electrical equipment for cable collection and tapping.Distribution boxes can be divided into common type and with switch type, also can be divided into common type and flood protection type according to seal level.They are widely used in urban and industrial and mining enterprises concentrated areas. They are the first choice of power supply products which achieve the ring network’s cable transformation and power supply in city.

A Common-typed Cable Distribution Box
The cable box uses of all-insulated, fully sealed silicone rubber cable head, up to 8 branch cable termination, with live displays, and a pneumatic rod. Distribution boxes are divided into European type and American type.
a Euro-type Cable Distribution Box
European cable distribution boxes use wear screen casing, European cable connector, more than 3-way branch cable with both sides, one side can terminate 4-way cable. It can be used an ordinary insulated cable head or fully sealed, insulated cable head, the entire cabinet is enclosed. Rated current up to 630A.
B With Switch-typed Cable Distribution Box
It can be designed up to a dozen ways of cable distribution and conversion, wiring is very flexible and convenient. Outdoor can be configured to outdoor ring main unit. The switch can not only choose inflatable SF6 load switch cabinet, configure with
switch cabinet; circuit breaker cabinet and many other functions cabinet. Cable can equip with completely closed, fully insulated cable head, or configure the common cable head. Ways of Inlet and outlet of Cable are multiple .
b American-typed Cable Distribution Box
American cable distribution boxes with flat multi-casing,American cable connector which can connect 6-way cables. All the cable distribution boxes are all-insulated, sealed cable head, sealed box. Rated current up to 630A.
